Summary of what this level of the course covers:
This level focuses on the importance of breastfeeding, how breast milk production works, detailed information on how to improve latch and positioning, biologically appropriate newborn behaviour and most importantly – counselling skills.

Mothers they aren’t able to support would have to take help from professional lactation enablers/counsellors and relevant medical professionals.
Prerequisites: None

Level 2
Course: Certified Intermediate Lactation Enabler
Hours: ~18 Hours
Cost: Rs.5000/-
Whom can they help?
Those who complete this level will be able to support other mothers on their lactation journey as lactation enablers.
Summary of what this level of the course covers:
This level focuses on the stages of lactation, the impact of birth practices on breastfeeding, breastfeeding issues and how they can be resolved, and mother-infant separation and weaning.
To whom do they escalate?
Mothers they aren’t able to support would have to take help from professional lactation enablers/counsellors and relevant medical professionals.
Prerequisites: Level 1 completed and passed

Course: Certified Advanced Lactation Enabler
Hours: ~12 Hours

Whom can they help?
Those who complete this level will be able to support their mothers on their lactation journey as advanced lactation professionals and support medical professionals at medical institutions.
Summary of what this level of the course covers:
This level focuses on Jaundice, NICU care for premature babies, Tongue Ties and Lip Ties, Breast Surgeries, and Medications during breastfeeding to name a few.
To whom do they escalate?
Mothers they aren’t able to support would have to take help from experienced advanced lactation enablers/counsellors and relevant medical professionals.
Prerequisites: Levels 1 & 2 Completed and passed
